Just arrived! JL Audio Gotham g213 subwoofer!

Holy Deep Bass, Batman!

Yeah, I generally hate those corny references too, but when this subwoofer arrived on the truck, It really fits.  We had to borrow a forklift from a nearby business, because, in the shipping container, it weighed in at 485 lbs… too heavy to lift without a lift-gate. 

Out of the box the lit says it weighs 360… I think… more like 400+… it took three people to lift it and one more to push the furniture dolly underneath.  Crazy…

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 
Not as crazy as the sound though, 3800 watts, two 13.5 inch woofers… everything shakes… things rattle and buzz… earthquake right in the room…. http://home.jlaudio.com/products_subs.php?prod_id=370

As of today, we have not decided on a place to display the sub, so we have not run the auto room calibration or anything… still sitting on the cart!  We will find a place in the next couple of days and set it up fully… still, it is awesome… come by and listen!
